Sheep and goats

Hi

Sheep or goat?

There are a lot species of animals at this world. And every species is different, even the really small ones. The difference between a sheep and a goat is very obvious. You can tell me which picture shows a goat, and which one shows a sheep. But still, how would you explain what the difference is? Both have four legs, a long mouth and are ruminant. What is the big difference? I think that many people would explain it with: “sheep have wool, goats don’t. But all these qualifications are about how they look and how we observe them. Is there a way of distinguish them on their characters? That’s not very usual with animals. We do it a lot with people, for example when we say “she is really energetic and he is very quiet. When I went outside and made the pictures of these animals, I had the opportunity to look them in the eyes. And there was such a difference between the sheep and the goat. The pictures give me a complete different feeling because of the way their look is captured. I mentioned that they had a different character. The goats are a lot more energetic than the sheep and jump all around, when the sheep are the coolness themselves. I really like that you can see the difference between them on the pictures.

Another thing what caught my eye was the way we make animals human. Maybe that happened because of the animated movies which show us talking animals, with feelings and emotions. But do animals really think the way we do, do they have feelings like we do? The picture of the goats together gives me the impression that they like each other, like a romantic couple. Is that true? But even if not, I still think the picture is cute.
